Washington, DC 4/15/2010 - I went there for the first when I was looking for a gift for my dad (he wanted a money clip) and I was randomly passing by this store, so I decided to check it out. This store had exactly what I needed and they offered to engrave the money clip which took just a few minutes. I was back to resize an old ring that I had from my grandmother. DRZ did wonderful job, and they cleaned it beautifully too, When I was picking up my ring, I asked to clean the earrings too (they were a set with a ring) and they did it for free. They even offered to clean my engagement ring while I was there. Overall, I like this store very much - very good customer services and they have good selection of goodies. Amanda C. Washington, DC 5/11/2010 - I stumbled across DRZ Jewelers during a seemingly endless tour of DC-area jewelry shops in search of the ideal engagement ring for my lady. On first glance it appears to be a relatively small store focused on watches and other gift items, but on closer inspection the true value of the store is the owners' eye for quality and ability to make a perfect piece for an amazing price. The shop is owned and operated by Zach Ramadan and his wife, both of whom are great people. I had a murky idea of what the lady desired, and while none of the settings on-site quite hit the mark, Zach helped me custom design a ring that was exactly what I was looking for. I also purchased the primary diamond for the ring from the store as well. The service was great throughout, and while I wish I could say I eventually chose the store purely based on the likability of the owners, it certainly helped that they gave me the best prices for both the diamond and the custom designed setting. The entire process was stress-free and the end result was perfect. I highly recommend this store for those of you searching for an elegant and affordable piece of jewelry. Brian S. Washington, DC 8/2/2010 - Zach and his wife are awesome. My fiance and I went to pretty much every jewelry store in DC to look for a men's wedding band and finalized it at DRZ. A few reasons. One, it's local and family owned. Two, it's reputable. Three, they are there to run a business, not rip you off. Four, they have a nice set of rings to choose from.
